• Appointed as supervisor, with the powers of the board and the President and CEO, over William Osler Health System; transformed the organization both fiscally and culturally, delivering: A balanced operating plan for two consecutive years (only achieved once in ten previous years at WOHS); and A motivated hospital team delivering on a vision for the future of WOHS and health care in general.
• Led a merger of three small hospitals in Northern Ontario and led the Trillium merger of The Mississauga Hospital and Queensway General Hospital.
